#4M y#5M • Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida @artsballet continúa la temporada 2016-2017 con Chipollino, un espectacular ballet que ha divertido chicos y grandes desde su debut en 1992 en Puerto Rico y en el 2001 en Miami• .Bajo la dirección artística y con coreografía del Maestro Vladimir Isaaev, Chipollino es un ballet en dos actos compuesto por Karen Khachaturian y basado en el cuento de Gianni Rodari y adaptado para el público americano y latino por el propio Issaev.La historia narra las aventuras de un grupo de frutas y vegetales que conforman el pueblo de Limonia donde Chipollino es un travieso cebollín que junto a sus amigas la Zanahoria y la princesa Cerecita viven divertidas aventuras.En el pueblo de Limonia la Señora Calabaza comienza a construir su casita para sus 9 hijas, pero cuando el Sr. Tomate Policía la derriba, los habitantes de Limonia, entre ellos las Lechugas, los Rábanos, las Manzanas, las Fresas y los Guisantes la ayudan a construirla de nuevo.El travieso Chipollino le pisa un pie al Príncipe Limón, y su padre el Señor Chipollone es arrestado en su lugar. En el castillo, la princesa Cerecita y sus hermosas amigas las flores ayudan a Chipollino a liberar a su padre, no sin antes pasar por ingeniosas y riesgosas aventuras.Kevin Zong y Kazuya Arima estarán compartiendo el rol de Chipollino, Hinano Eto y Kayci Rodríguez interpretarán a la princesa Cerecita mientras que la prima ballerina del Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, Mary Carmen Catoya también le dará vida a la Señorita Zanahoria rol que compartirá con Lillian Hill. Para la colorida producción, los telones y elementos escenográficos fueron diseñados por la artista Elena Bond, mientras que el vestuario fue realizado por el diseñador chileno Jorge Gallardo. Ride your bike and meet residents, along with Village Council at Village Hall for a guided bike ride to celebrate Bike305's Bike to Work Day and as part of Palmetto Bay's "Get Fit” initiative. Riders will depart from Village Hall's parking lot at 6:45am and head out to Dadeland South Metrorail Station. Upon arrival to Dadeland South Metrorail Station, you'll learn how to take your bike on Metrorail and then head to the Cocnut Grove Metrorail Station (US1 & SW 27th Avenue) where all the Bike305 festivities will take place at 7:15am.
